This place is now 'Kalyana mandabam' marriage hall but In olden days this place is called 'Padappu' where the cattle food is stored it is mostly near the houses adjoined to the village. The hay is dry ed and stored there for the whole year. And the farmer's family use to rear 60 to 100 cows and cattle in a group called 'Manthai'. P.Mahalinga nadar had two manthaies, and S.Varadharaja nadar had one Manthai they are called 'muthalali' at the time by the working group people. They where respected by the rest of the village people. The cattle of the whole village gathered by the cowboys in the middle of the village called manthai(This manthai now become bus stand now) and then they take the cattle to the forest for grazing and bring back to the village.

I want my country without a boundry
I want my country with out a boundary
pune, India, --- — I want my country with out a boundary for me a new entry with abound bravery people with humanity and a common language which reflect my imaginery with in this century.I want a clever that will bind all people in a society live with friendly sharing my joy and sad equally I want my forestry which keep my country coolly I want my rivers common to everybody I want my country with out a boundry. In India there is always dispute between states about the boundary and the river water. In India states are divided according to language and if we go 1oo kilometres it changes that nobody accept they go on fighting to each boundary between states,And for river water. Why is it happens. Why not the states are not divided according to geography or according to rivers like Ganga state, Godavary state, Kavery state Krishns state instead of languages.I never seen a border between two states acctually. In future people will be going to fight for water. In India there is much land is available. Why not we do man made forest. Our river waters are going waste in to the sea.Vishveshvarayya's plan to joining the rivers. In China they built the great wall.Banama cannal,Tajmahal and why not we built man made social forestry. Where we lack? we are having enough tecnology, man power, and money, what is the army doing in peace times.Like Ravindranath Tahoor said Let my country awake. country boundary rivers dispute forestry

Marriage and age in India
In India, when we talk about the age requirement for marriage, the government says 21 years for young men and 18 years for young women. Nowadays, parents are not willing to marry their children, even though they reach this age requirement. What can the young generation do in this modern multimedia age? We must think rationally and provide them with the necessary things to do. First of all, we must empower them. The second thing is marriage. In olden days, people used to get married before they began earning money through a job. And they were looked after by their parents. But now, young women have begun working and, at the same time, do not accept their parents' wishes. They go on spending money and wasting their lives. Is this good for culture? They pollute the culture by living with somebody or having a relationship with somebody before marriage. Again, is this good?Being conservative is not a crime. Wearing short or revealing clothes is not good. Go seek a marriage solution and settle down in life. Living a content life will give you pleasure. This type of message must be spread more in our society. Marry at the correct age. For that, marriage brokers are available nowadays. Time is golden. Parents also must understand their children's problems and arrange for an early marriage for their children. It is good for them and for our nation too.

Dry land cultivation
Pune, India, October 13 — My father, a farmer died because of a loanburden and searching water tables in the well. Forty five years ago,he used to cultivate chillies, cotton, jowhar, vegetables and pulses.
Now, in our village, in India, there is no water in the wells. Peopleuse rain water for cultivating crops. Many trees have been cut downand slowly the land is becoming barren. Young people are migrating tocities. If this is the case now, what will happen after 50 years?
The people in villages look for government jobs and wealthy projects.Nobody wants to work in the fields. Private companies also do not wantto take risks by investing time and money in agriculture especially inplaces where water is scarce. The water table is going deep down andwill take close to 100 of years to recharge with water. How willpeople survive in these circumstances?
Training farmers in dry land cultivation, rain water harvesting, improved method of cultivation and protecting the land is necessary. However, if goals and suggestions remain only on paper, then, what isthe future of our motherland?
Involving women in crop cultivations and giving them land is also oneway of helping reforms. In the current population, more than half thewomen are banished from this noble task. So, they should be trainedand given the responsibility of cultivating land.
Let us not put reforms on paper but implement land reforms.
