Once upon a time people of kamatchipurm decided to built a weekly market here the foundation was built and it was not worked because of various reasons. A market needs many buyers and sellers according to the economical conditions it works. We use to say this place as "Pattai" and children use to play hide and seek. when I am a little girl.And our "primary hindu nadar school" was built with a hay roof at the same place. And it was changed in to English medium school now.When I am in 5th standard(1967) our head sir was Balagurusamy He use to teach us very interstingly.He made me as a school puple leader though I am a girl.That made me to thing like a leader.
